Meet Our Administration

Interim Administrator

Nicole holds a BA and MA in English literature from the University of Connecticut and began her career as an English teacher at the Hopkins School before moving to upstate New York. Her three children attended Waldorf in preschool, where her journey with Waldorf began. Formerly she served as the Waldorf School's business manager for five years. She enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga and gardening.

Business Manager

Sullay previously worked for a non-woven engineering company for seven years. When her son started attending the Waldorf school in 2023, she saw so much growth in him that she fell in love with the school and decided to change her career and come on board with us. In her free time, she loves to read about history with her son, have weekly game nights, travel and have weekend adventures.

Admissions Director

Marthe grew up attending Waldorf schools in her home country of Norway. She spent several years in various positions working at the Norwegian Sea Rescue Society. A yogic lifestyle specialist, trained in trauma, Marthe operated her own holistic yoga business while living in London. Music and physical activity have always been a huge part of her life, as well as learning languages, traveling the world to experience different cultures, cooking, and spending time with her husband and two doodles.

Communications Director

Before joining the Waldorf community, Lindsay worked as a copy editor for a large nonprofit organization and homeschooled her two daughters, who now attend the Waldorf school and are thriving here. She also enjoys being outdoors, going on adventures with her family, baking, and reading.

Registrar

Gina Valenti-Beall has a BS in Elementary Education from SUNY Cortland and an MA in Special Education and Reading from SUNY Albany. Before having her children, Gina worked as a public school educator. She has served in many roles at our school over the years, including as a parent, substitute teacher, and previously as our Alum Coordinator. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family and cherishing moments with her young nieces and nephew.

Lower School Office Manager

Susan has experience in office management, human resources, and a recent digital marketing certification from the University of Vermont. Before joining Waldorf, Susan worked as a Spa Coordinator for a day spa after raising and homeschooling her daughter. Outside of work, Susan enjoys spending time with her family, playing pickleball, travelling, and playing board games. She loves animals, decorating, and the outdoors. 

School Nurse

Laura is starting her eleventh year as our school nurse. She previously worked in the hospital setting for many years and then took some time off to raise her family before coming to the Waldorf School. Laura enjoys being outdoors, gardening, bird watching, and spending time with family and friends.
